If you are looking for the absolute best Italian food in Texas, look no further. Pietro’s Italian Bakery is an absolute gem, and I’ve already found my new go-to spot. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one hit it out of the park: Stuffed Mushrooms: A must-try. They were absolutely delicious and swimming in the most amazing, rich brandy cream sauce. I could have eaten a whole plate of just these. Penne alla Vodka & Chicken Parmigiana: Both were terrific. The flavors were spot-on, and the pasta itself was cooked to absolute perfection. Alfredo Pizza: Pure perfection. The crust and the sauce were flawless. Beyond how incredible the food tastes, the portions are huge—you definitely get your money's worth here. We were honestly way too full to even attempt dessert, which is a shame because everything in the bakery case looked stunning and delicious. Incredible food, massive portions, and unbeatable flavors. I will definitely be back (and saving room for dessert next time)!

My 79-year-old 100% Italian father-in-law LOVES this place. That should be all you need to know, haha. But seriously, we have been enjoying Pietro’s for six years (ever since they were at their old location at Custer and Eldorado) and we have never ordered a single thing that hasn’t been delicious. My wife and I visited Little Italy on Boston’s North End recently, and Pietro’s is on par with or better than the eateries and pastry shops there. How blessed are we to have a place like this right here in Frisco!

Todays my birthday so decided to go where one of my residents referred me. I already had a chocolate chip cannoli from here and it was delicious. Walking in the place is like a hidden gem first you see the bakery but then when you look to the left, you see a small quiet restaurant café type of vibe the lady who took my order was very nice. She even wrote me a birthday note on my mini cannolis I ordered while I waited for my food. They were very attentive to me as if I was the only person in the room it made me feel special. I feel like I was in a different part of Texas going into this café. It was very nice and I will go back.

From our entire family to anyone who sees this, YES! Literally everything on the menu, YES! Pietro’s Rigatoni, Cannoli, Cheesecake, the bread in the basket when you dine in… Say yes to it all. In short, it’s one of the greatest gems around. I only wish I found them sooner, but that’s ok… we are here now! The entire family, the entire menu and the entire experience is special. Love, passion and pure joy is found in the staff, the food and the energy that is found the minute you enter this “Bakery”. Don’t let the name fool you, grab your date, go for the dessert, stay for the food and just experience what true love of family and tradition is. This place strikes a chord within me that I can only express with the word, Love. I’m really glad to have found Pietros, Dee & her family are amazing and rare. You must take a minute, slow down, LEAVE YOUR PHONE IN YOUR CAR, pull up a seat in this awesome cafe and feast on some of the best Italian dishes you’ll ever have. Whether it’s a coffee and pastry, or the Chicken Parm and a glass of wine, come hungry, fall in love and leave full of joy. Thank you Pietro’s.

My waitress was one of the daughters of the owners - she was an absolute rock star! I traveled here from Washington DC for work and will 100% be coming here again in the future. The desserts are INSANELY delicious- service was top notch and my food was incredible. I even had my waitress drag her dad (one of the owners) out from the back so I could personally thank him! Do yourself a favor and come here all the time if you're local - you guys are lucky!!!!!
